Safe Families for Children is a charity that sets up to stabilise families at times of crisis, and prevent child neglect and abuse. Originating in Chicago in 2003, the charity has now made its way over to the UK and is now operational in the North West, the Midlands, the South and South West, Scotland and Wales. Many local authorities are already seeing a reduction in flow of children into care as a result of Safe Families early intervention. In the UK Safe Families has provided over 4,000 respite bed nights to children, with thousands of children benefitting from support, and we hope that with the sale of Lot 801 we can help thousands more children in need. Offered for sale is a 1.098L 1970 Morris Minor 1000 998 Saloon manual that has been with the current owner for the last 35 years.
