We are thrilled you are joining us for our second sale of the year; whether that is during the dedicated viewing day or on the sale day itself – we hope you enjoy seeing all 150 Everyman Classics here at the WEC. We are absolutely delighted that Rowan Atkinson CBE has chosen to use CCA to bring his Mercedes-Benz 500E (W124) to the market, this is a special car with a lovely history of his ownership that should do really well. As such, it is the very first car in the sale and offered at No Reserve, it will undoubtedly create a massive stir as all of his cars usually do. We also have over 15 other Mercedes in the sale, so make sure you explore the full catalogue. There are other cars which we are offering with interesting celebrity links. Two cars from Harry Metcalfe; the Mercedes- Benz 600SL which featured in his Harry’s Garage 50p coin video as well as a 1997 Lancia Kappa Coupe, respectively lot numbers 320 and 321. We also have a lovely Alfa that was once owned by John Squires of Stone Roses fame. Among the many Porsches, of which there are 14, Jaguars (23), BMWs (8) and of course our usual selection of Fast Fords (16), we believe a few very special cars. The 1970’s Porsche 911T is the car of my childhood, and then the 1980’s Turbo is the poster car of my youth. We have an interesting pair of BMW M3s, again nineties and noughties to give a choice and a selection of Jaguars, especially E-Types of all kinds. From project cars to astonishing restorations, from ‘No Reserve’ to estimates of almost £60,000; our catalogue is one of which we are rightly very proud. With over 150 cars consigned and a valuation of around £2,000,000, we thank our vendors for their confidence in allowing CCA bring their cars to the marketplace, and our buyers for their unwavering support as we return to our spiritual home here at the WEC. We hope you enjoy this sale - whether you’re a buyer, seller, enthusiast or classic car collector, have a great time and happy bidding! Gary Dunne – CCA Sales Manager
