14 CCA The Autumn Sale 2023 classiccarauctions.co.uk LOT 707 Estimate: £10,000 - £12,000 1976 MG B GT SEBRING REPLICA Well-crafted homage to the legendary Sebring GTS MGs, upgraded with a 1,950cc fast road engine. • Purchased by its previous owner in 2001 as an unfinished conversion to a Sebring replica he undertook a complete overhaul and restoration, with virtually every aspect refined, upgraded or rebuilt • The work included correctly refitting the body panels, respraying the whole of the car in British Racing Green, and undertaking a full mechanical rebuild. The brakes were upgraded and the engine re-bored (1,950cc) and rebuilt with a big-valve head and a reprofiled Piper cam to ‘ultimate’ road spec.
