THE AUTUMN CLASSIC CAR SALE 30th September 2023
5 BUYER’S GUIDE Saleroom notices A saleroom notice is issued when a pertinent change in information provided on an item is made after the catalogue is finalised and published. If a lot has a saleroom notice, this will be displayed on the individual page on the website, it will be displayed in the auction hall and read out by the Auctioneer prior to the lot being auctioned. Warranties The catalogue will describe the lots to the best of our ability on information supplied by the vendor. You should, however, satisfy yourself as to the condition, age and integrity of any lot prior to bidding as no warranties whatsoever are given in relation to any lot. Once the hammer falls a contract is made and you are obligated to proceed with the purchase. It is therefore vital that you are satisfied to the best of your ability with the condition of the lot you intend to bid on before doing so. Vehicle registration documents Classic Car Auctions will retain the V5C registration document, and a member of the administration team will contact you after the auction to confirm the details for registering the vehicle. If we have not received a reply from you within two weeks of the Sale we will register the vehicle to the name and address you provided when registering at the auction. Some lots will require a NOVA declaration to be completed. This will be stated in the catalogue description. The responsibility for this rests with the Buyer. Our transport partner EM Rogers can carry out this process on your behalf for a fee of £50 plus VAT. Please contact them on +44 (0) 1604 755 511 or trafficdesk@emrogers.co.uk for further information. Finance Buyers should ensure they have the necessary funds available to make payment before bidding. If you are looking to arrange finance, we have partnered with Oracle Car Finance the UK’s number one funder for prestige, sports and classic cars, who can help get you approved before the auction with an agreement in principle. Please see their website www.oraclefinance.co.uk or contact them on +44 (0) 330 838 7491.
