4 CCA SEPTEMBER 2022 CLASSIC CAR SALE 2 BUYERS GUIDE Please note, we have launched a new website recently, if you are registering via this for the first time you will need to create a new account. Once you have created your account, please submit your registration directly against the lot(s) you wish to bid on. Bidding You can bid in person, online, via commission or on the telephone. However you choose to bid you will need to provide one form of identification, such as a driving licence or passport, to complete your registration process. Bidding in the room Please head to the registration desk at the auction to register and obtain a bidder paddle. Commission bids A commission bid is the maximum amount you are willing to bid up to (excluding the buyer’s premium and VAT). We will execute your bid as low as possible on your behalf. You can register in person when viewing the lots prior to the auction, via our website or by emailing bid@classiccarauctions.co.uk . Telephone bidding Telephone bidding will still allow you to bid live. On the day of the sale a member of the Classic Car Auctions team will contact you, usually a few lots prior to your selected lots, and will guide you through the process. You can also leave a commission bid in the event that we are unable to contact you via telephone. You can register in person when viewing lots prior to the auction, via our website or by emailing bid@classiccarauctions.co.uk . Online bidding You can bid live online on the day via our website. You will need to register an account on our website www.classiccarauctions.co.uk and click on ‘Register to bid live’ to be able to do this. There is no additional fee for online bidding via our website. Classic Car Auctions has also partnered with The Saleroom and Proxibid. Registration for internet bidding with our partners is done on their websites. Please go to www.classiccarauctions.co.uk/pages/buy for more information and direct links. Please note that online bidding with our online partner incurs an additional fee of 1% plus VAT. Documentation You can inspect the vehicle files at our dedicated documents desk at the auction. We recommend you inspect the paperwork prior to the auction to satisfy yourself as to the completeness of any history files, spares etc.
