Initially purchased by Ronald Ellis from Hertfordshire in November 1966 and owned for almost 26 years • Subsequently passed to Mr Peter Brook in Essex who carried out extensive restoration work that included upgrading the engine from the original 3.4-litre. Some £21,000 was reportedly spent over the years.
