Only 100 Coupés were built by Triple Eight on behalf of Vauxhall Motors • Derived from the Astra Coupé Turbo and powered by the same 187bhp, turbocharged 2-litre engine, the ‘888 Edition ‘ has a host of individual features including race-proven chassis modifications, Milltek stainless steel exhaust, VXR front brakes, O.Z. Racing alloy wheels, Eibach springs and dampers, ETC-Plus traction control, a ‘Quickshift ‘ reduced-travel gear lever, BTCC-inspired body kit, and a restyled interior • All 100 examples were finished in a bespoke shade of Europa Blue Pearlescent • The current indicated mileage is 66,046 and prior to being put into storage by our vendor, work included a service, 888 air filter, 888 brake pads and a new 888 backbox.
