174 CCA The Classic & Performance Car Spectacular Sale 2024 classiccarauctions.co.uk LOT 667 Estimate: £6,000 - £8,000 1964 FORD ZODIAC MK III ESTATE (ABBOTT OF FARNHAM) This rare Ford Zodiac Estate featured in the popular BBC series, Call the Midwife . • The Zodiac was the top of the Zephyr 4/Zephyr 6/Zodiac range and featured a unique grille (four headlights instead of two), exclusive bumper bars, plusher seating and upholstery, and a stylish dashboard that was state of the art in 1964 • Powered by 2,553cc single-carburettor, six-cylinder producing c.109bhp with a column-change, 4-speed all-synchro gearbox • For the first four generations of Consul, Zephyr and Zodiac models, Ford UK outsourced its conversion of saloons to estates to the well-established E.D. Abbott of Farnham Ltd.
