It has covered only 25 miles since then and has been part of a museum display since. • One of the most respected builders of early Porsche replicas is Dorset-based Chesil, a company who have built a reputation for providing one of the best 356 recreations on the market • Available as a complete factory build or as a home- build kit, they could be tailored to the customer’s requirements using whatever size of VW engine that was available and a quality GRP body, meaning that, effectively, no two are the same • This smart example, #CS538K, is based on a 1973 1300A Beetle and was finished in 2020.
