The car was stripped to the bare chassis and all components rebuilt. A new body was constructed using a steel tubular frame, the interior reupholstered, front wheel brakes added, and the engine refreshed (having been rebuilt in 2007). The car has completed some 200 miles post-restoration • The engine block is believed to be porous but the car does run and drive.
