8 CCA The Practical Classics Classic Car and Restoration Show Sale 2024 LOT 101 Estimate: £5,000 - £8,000 1972 ROVER 3500 (P6) SALOON - No Reserve PROCEEDS TO PROSTATE CANCER UK Charity Lot, donated by Stephen Dix, a Practical Classics magazine reader. • Rover’s 3500 was launched in 1968 with a Buick-derived 3,528cc V8 generating 161bhp and offering 0-60 in nine seconds and a top speed of 123mph - impressive for 1968 • This 1972 3500, with only 54,000 miles, has been donated to Show sponsors, Practical Classics magazine, by reader, Stephen Dix, to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK • The vendor states ‘I’ve owned it for 20 years and it’s a lovely example, but now it’s time for it to go on a new adventure.
