We are always delighted to return to the WEC, and having enjoyed such a fantastic sale in June, we look forward to offering this wonderful selection of cars to you all. Following our strong start to 2022, this Sale includes a superb range of special cars that we are grateful to our willing vendors for consigning with us. It is a selection of possibly the finest cars we have ever put together, with almost 150 cars of all types and values available. We have British classics aplenty, including Aston Martins, Bentleys, Jaguars and MGs. There are continental classics, including Porsches, Ferraris, BMWs and Alfa Romeos. We also have modern classics, including Subarus, Audi Quattros and Mercedes – plus many more in between! Further highlights include stars of Television and Box Office, including the Capri that was Alfie Moon’s car of choice in BBC’s EastEnders, a Bentley S1 Mulliner with Film and TV provenance, as well as a BMW that was once the preserve of Richard Wilson, ‘I don’t believe it!’. Then there is our cover car, the ultra rare Porsche 924 Carrera GT Coupé that was owned new by the manager of Thin Lizzy, Ultravox and Blur. We welcome you to view this fine selection of cars on both Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd September, as well as on the day of the Sale. If you would like to join us in the early evening of the Thursday with your own classic car, we are holding a Classic Car Concours and Car-B-Q, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, with The Gourmet Hog Roast Company providing the food, Wriggly Monkey some refreshment and the Foster Brothers a little entertainment. If you are not able to join us in person, we also offer our normal distance bidding options, CCA Live online, by phone or via commission.
